Marie Curtis - Studio Owner & Principle Photographer

Marie Curtis was born in MA and grew up in coastal CT. She attended St. Bernard High School in New London, and graduated with honors from Robt. E. Fitch High School in Groton. While studying to be a computer programmer, a part time job in a camera store thoroughly trained her for what would become her life's work. Marie handles the daily photographic assignments such as portrait, wedding and public relations. Her special abilities in black and white imaging resulted in a selection for the prestigious Images 2003 Exhibition sponsored by the Shoreline Arts Alliance. She is the first woman in Middlesex County Certified by the Professional Photographers of America. She is also a Life Member of the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association, Active member of the Professional Photographers of New England and Professional Photographers of America where she currently serves as the liaison to the state of CT for certified members.
